Childhood Introduction

I have decided to attempt to write a new blog one each day from now until my Birthday on Jan 8, each blog post will cover something different from my childhood memories, incidents, family, and my heritage I guess you could say. I will start my first blog by a bit about my family. I was born the youngest of 4 girls in 1973. I come from quite a large and very loving family. I was born in Manchester, CT at the time I was born my mother had two rather large casts on her legs. She was hit by a car a couple of years before I was conceived and jokes were often made about my parentage :) The Drs. wanted to amputate her legs my dad refused her legs were never the same but she beat the odds and DID manage to walk again but she could never walk far or stand for long. I was walking before her, I admit I was quite a handful and kept her on her toes. Being the youngest of 4 Girls they wanted a boy :) My dad was happy to say everything was right but the plumbing LOL
